Toneng Food Products (TFP) is founded by Mrs Teresita ( Neneng) along with her family- Husband Antonio (Tony) and son, Arnel with wife Jella and daughter Jenilyn with husband Jaymer.






Our Story
When COVID-19 started in the Philippines, many families were struggling during this period of ambiguity. Even Violanda Family was not an exemption. Their existing small business, the “Sari-Sari Store” which is owned by Neneng and her husband Tony, had been downsized by as much as 90%. Based on their available resources, they must find ways to deal with the crisis, including selling “Balut” (a popular Filipino dish that is a boiled, eaten-in-the-shell fertilized duck egg) in front of their store.
The head of the family, Tony created their home-made sauce or sawsawan for Balut with special ingredients which quickly gained popularity within their barangay. He named it Sukang Demonyo-with its major ingredient siling demonyo.
However, to expand the product in the market they eventually improved the taste and significantly change the product’s name from Sukang Demonyo into Banggiitan nga Suka – BaSuka™®
This marks Banggiitan nga Suka – BaSuka™® beginning. The newest dipping sauce in Iligan City.
